This charming cheese dome was found at a flea market in Stuttgart.
There’s something so calming about the way the farmer and animals are drawn.
The chipped area was gradually rebuilt in multiple stages using traditional materials called kokuso (a mix of raw urushi lacquer and wood powder) and sabi (urushi mixed with burnt clay).
Each layer was carefully applied and shaped before finishing the surface with pure silver powder.
