Bolesławiec, Poland, Ceramika Wiza, Pottery
Damage: Chip (0.9 cm²)

This mug came from my brother.
The blue-dot motif, often called Blue Eyes, is one of the signature designs of Bolesławiec pottery. Its simple composition—white circles layered over cobalt blue—is created using a sponge-stamping technique. Known as a Farmer Mug, the rounded body and slightly narrowed rim are designed to keep drinks warm—and the pattern itself feels just as warm and comforting.
